Weekly Photo Challenge ( solitary)

September 24, 2012 by greenmackenzie

This is Willow taking a solitary moment on a very windy walk up Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh. She was transfixed by something I couldn’t see, until it dawned on me that it was the scent on the wind, travelling at high speed up her snout which was holding her attention. She was wrapped up in a world of her own.

I suspect that she was also loving the feeling if the wind in her fur. I love that feeling through my hair so can only imagine how good it must feel when your whole body is furry and windswept!

  1. This is a great picture! I went to Scotland once, it was the windiest place I had ever been!

    • Thanks! its funny I guess growing up with lots of windy days means I kind of got used to it, and I find it energising and exciting! A friend who is a teacher says that she notices the kids are a little wilder when it’s a windy day 🙂

As there hasn’t been a new WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge yet, perhaps you’d like to join in the Weekly Travel Theme http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/09/28/travel-theme-foliage/ xxx Ailsa
