Sandy Adventures

Yesterday we went for a fantastic walk along Yellowcraigs Beach.

Sea frolics for three

We had brilliant fun running through waves and we ran for 2 hours along the sand…

That’s the Bass Rock behind us (white rock on the right!) in the Middle of the Firth of Forth…..it’s white because it’s covered in bird poo……we would love to visit it some day…..yummy!

We played catch with a big stick, and got wet from head to paw fetching it from the sea…….then we got really sandy fetching it from the beach. Infact we loved it so much that we brough a huge amount of the beach home with us, secretly hidden in our fur. We spent the evening recreating the beach on the floor and on the sofa….brilliant :-)….and Mum and Dad had great fun this morning hoovering it all up….we do like to give them fun things to do so they don’t get bored.

On our way back to the car we came across lots of groups of people barbequing and drinking…..Molly made a break for it and ploughed into the middle of one group sending wine cups flying and covering the blankets and rugs and people in a generous coating of sand….for some reason they didn’t seem to find it fun…..who will ever understand people?

Those are some lucky pups! We live in the Canadian prairies, so ours have never been to a beach. It looks absolutely stunning where you are.
